Global Masters Scholars in Geography
Earn your bachelors degree in geography or environmental science from DU and your MS from a strategic international partner.
The Department of Geography is actively recruiting Global Masters Scholars, students who can complete accelerated coursework with high marks for the opportunity to earn their master's from a prestigious university abroad.
Now Partnering with Lund University
Working with the Department of Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science and the Department of Human Geography at Lund University in Sweden, and alongside DU's Office of Internationalization, we have aligned coursework and research opportunities to provide seamless transition from DU to Lund.
Applications for the Global Masters Scholars program will be accepted in October 2019.
To qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be working toward a BA or a BS in environmental science or a BA in geography.
- Have a minimum 3.5 GPA at the time of application and maintain their GPA through the end of their third year.
- Complete their application by the deadline in the fall of their third year.
In addition, students must meet DU's standard study-abroad and exchange requirements
Lund is ranked 16th among geography departments worldwide. Their specialization in the three distinct areas of physical geography, ecosystem science and human geography translates into a powerful and harmoneous collaboration with DU's geography and environmental science faculty experts.
